ABOUT ME

Josh Gasan is a 28-year-old scriptwriter and playwright. He has graduated two degrees, BA Scriptwriting in 2017, and MA Creative Writing in 2023.

While writing isn't something Josh currently does for work, it remains a vital passion, having recently completed work on an inventive one-person play I Have Sinned, which is currently undergoing workshopping with peers.

​

As a queer man and long-time resident of Cardiff, Josh routinely volunteers with the Iris Film Festival held each year, celebrating queer filmmaking on the international stage.

​

Not quite a futurist, Josh has one eye on the future when it comes to storytelling, showing a particular interest in 'Transmedia Storytelling' which features routinely on his blog.

With a keen eye for detail and a deep love of storytelling, Josh is always on the look out for the next opportunity and, of course, that first foot in the door of the career he dreams of.
